Rosalia
Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is an Spanish Flamenco/Pop artist. From her teens, she's embraced the edges of popular and traditional music. Additionally, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, soul and trap. Her voice has been described by no less talented than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet but with a bite like older versions. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit making it to the top of the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving an Grammy. In 2021, the track La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami was her third full-length album. It featured songs written in collaboration with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The show premiered in March 2022. was released following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia performed solo on the show for the very first time ever on the program. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded an award for the Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
