Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born on April 10, 1986) was a actress turned model from India who primarily was seen in Hindi films. Ayesha received the Filmfare's Best debut Award, in 2004, for her performance as a leading character on Taarzan The Wonder Car. This was her acting debut. Later, Takia appeared in films like Paathshaala (2011) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2006) and Socha Na Tha (2007). Her first commercial was for Complan the well-known drink to improve well-being. Shahid Kapoor was her co-star in their famous I'm Complan man I'm Complan gal commercial. In the song remix Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin the singer was also featured. The popularity of the track in India in the time of its remix made her famous. She soon began getting Bollywood film deals. Takia was late in her release of Taarzan the Wonder Car, which had originally been planned for Socha Na Tha. However issues with production delayed its release. Ayesha showed moral courage when criticizing her politician husband Abu Azmi, a Samajwadi Party legislator. When she participated in a PETA India campaign, she signed the public announcement that she is vegan. In 2006, Ayesha Takhia was named in the top 100 Most Beautiful Women in India.
