After an 80-day hospital stay Angelica appeared to be dying after which she began a journey of recuperation. Angelica underwent dialysis treatment for over a decade half before she could undergo her kidney transplant. Her mom would be the recipient. In September 2013, Angelica and her mom underwent an operation to transplant their kidneys at two amazing hospitals located right across from one another- the University Hospital of Memory and Children's Health of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity from the beginning.
